Drumming Lessons

Besides carrying a wide selection of musical instruments and accessories, West Music teaches too! Take drumming lessons at our store — we provide the drum set, practice room, and music instructor. We also teach a wide variety of other instruments and voice!

For the aspiring drummer, we offer individual lessons taught by experienced music instructors, many who are active musicians themselves. Students who have learn the basics can also join one of our Live Performance Groups and have the experience of drumming on stage!

West Music partners with highly vetted teachers who can offer students years of experience and who are ready to work all ages and abilities. Meet Our Teachers

When you take music lessons or classes at West Music, you’ll be learning from pros like Luke Hull. Luke started learning percussion at age 14, and by 15 he was in his own band!

Luke studied music at Black Hawk College in the Quad Cities. He began teaching at West Music in 2004 and now has over 15 years of teaching experience.

Luke believes that learning to play the drums was one of the best experiences in his life. Drumming has allowed him to meet new people, have fun, and express his creative side. If you take lessons at West Music Luke says, “Get ready to have a lot of fun!”
